Reasons for the deviation of the conveyor belt:
There are many reasons for the deviation of the conveyor belt. Generally, the equipment is not adjusted properly, and there is an error in the production process of the belt, which causes the bell mouth to easily deviate.
Reason 1: The axis of the head drive pulley or the rear reversing pulley is not perpendicular to the center line of the conveyor, causing the conveyor belt to deviate at the head pulley or the tail reversing pulley. If the degree is not consistent, the traction force Fq along the width direction will also be inconsistent, which will increase or decrease, which will add a moving force in a decreasing direction to the conveyor belt, causing the conveyor belt to deviate to the loose side, that is, the so-called "running loose". Don't run tight."
Adjustment method:
The adjustment method is that for the head drum, if the conveyor belt deviates to the right side of the drum, the bearing seat on the right side should move forward, and the conveyor belt deviates to the left side of the drum, then the bearing seat on the left side should move forward. Correspondingly, the bearing seat on the left side or the bearing seat on the right side can also be moved backward. The adjustment method of the tail drum is just opposite to that of the head drum. After repeated adjustments until the conveyor belt is adjusted to an ideal position.
Reason 2: The outer surface of the roller is processed incorrectly, sticky material or uneven wear causes different diameters, and the conveyor belt will deviate to the side with a larger diameter.
Adjustment method:
The solution to this situation is to clean up the sticky material on the surface of the roller. If the processing error and wear are uneven, it must be replaced and reprocessed.
Reason 3: The blanking position at the transfer point is not correct, and the blanking position has a great impact on the deviation of the conveyor belt, especially when the projection of the upper conveyor and this conveyor on the horizontal plane is perpendicular to the horizontal plane. Generally, the relative height of the upper and lower belt conveyors at the transfer point should be considered. The lower the relative height, the greater the horizontal velocity component of the material, and the greater the lateral impact on the lower belt, and it is also difficult for the material to be centered. Make the material on the cross section of the conveyor belt deflect, if the material deviates to the right, the belt will deviate to the left, and vice versa.
Adjustment method:
For deviation in this case, the relative height of the two conveyors should be increased as much as possible during the design process. The form and size of the upper and lower funnels, guide troughs and other parts of the belt conveyor limited by space should be carefully considered. Generally, the width of the guide groove should be about three-fifths of the belt width, which is more appropriate. In order to reduce or avoid the deviation of the belt, a baffle plate can be added to block the material, and the falling direction and position of the material can be changed.
